We are a church that provides HOPE in JESUS! We endeavor to provide hope in Jesus not only in the church but also in the community and throughout the world! We provide hope in the congregation, the community, and throughout the world by creating disciples who will disciple the congregation and the community leading others to accepting and developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Biblical Foundation is 1 Peter 2:9-10 {NKJV}
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Our Missional responsibility is
1. To minister to congregants within the Body of Christ
2. To reach out to the unchurched in the community and abroad in order to create disciples by leading them to accept and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ
3. To equip them to go back into the community to minister and lead others to accepting and developing a relationship with Jesus Christ

A Welcome from Our Pastor!
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Vision of Hope Baptist Church Website. Our church is a Bible centered, Spirit-led, Holy Ghost filled church and congregation. Our ministries are centered on creating disciples in order for their lifestyle to be reflective of Jesus Christ. This is why our mission is important. Our focus is not about building membership but rather it is truly focused on making disciples (or learners). We are called by God to develop disciples so they will go out to teach and lead others into establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose as followers of Jesus Christ is to create disciples who will in return disciple the congregation and the community. We are called by God to train others to go out and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We place a lot of emphasis on practicing the spiritual disciplines of worship, praise, prayer, fasting, studying, witnessing, and serving. We firmly believe that our ministries should not be confined inside the church building, but we must reach out to the community. As a result, our mission is to minister to God’s people in the community which means you will see us evangelizing, feeding the hungry and homeless at shelters, spreading God’s Word in the correctional institutions, preaching the Gospel in nursing homes and assisted living facilities and speaking out against injustices happening in our community and throughout the world. At Vision of Hope Baptist Church, we love Jesus Christ and we place Him at the center of our lives. This is why we place emphasis on our motto, “It is not just a name, but it is a Christ Centered Lifestyle.” Everything we do at Vision of Hope Baptist Church is centered on Jesus Christ. We are not interested in promoting our name, but we have been commissioned by God to preach, teach, baptize, and make disciples.
Finally, please understand that OUR CHURCH IS NOT A CONGREGATION FOR PERFECT PEOPLE. IT IS A CHURCH FOR IMPERFECT PEOPLE WHO WILL COME IN CONTACT WITH A PERFECT GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. OUR CHURCH IS A PLACE FOR THE WOUNDED TO GET HEALED, THE BROKEN TO BE REPAIRED AND THE FALLEN TO BE RESTORED!

The Great Commission
The mission of Vision of Hope Baptist Church is to carry out the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19ff
(19) Go there fore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (20) Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen
Our Purpose
🞂 Our purpose is to do the following:
◦ To be led and guided by the Holy Spirit under the leadership of our Pastor
◦ To illustrate God’s Hope in His plan of salvation
◦ To illustrate God’s Hope for an eternal place in heaven
◦ To demonstrate God’s Hope through being a disciple on earth
◦ To illustrate God’s Hope in Jesus through praise, worship, studying God’s Word, and evangelism
